Dr. Thomas D Schiano, MD

Dr. Schiano is a life saver. He takes time and care in everything he does. Wise not radical decision maker and always there when needed. I could not be happier with the care he has given me over the years.

Dr Schiano has cared for me since 2020 during the pandemic when in urgent need of a transplant. He is the kindest doctor, great listener, and completely involved in my care. He has seen me through my worst and most frightening of times with a calm yet precise approach.

We saw dr Schiano with the intention of having him take care of our mom who was ill with hepatitis c infection. Shortly after visiting him she became critically ill and upon his recommendation we transferred her to Mt Sinai to be under his care. Well he never showed up, not even once, to see him. Only sending his crony interns who have not a clue about anything to take care of a critically ill patient as if we signed up to be part of his study. We didn’t. It was appalling. My mom died there thanks to his disregard for human life. It’s a disgrace to call him a doctor no matter what his degree states. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

Dr. Schiano has been my doctor since approximately 2006. He has treated me through a cure for Hep C, a liver transplant and beyond. He is by far the best doctor I have ever had. He is kind, patient and above all competent.

Dr. Schiano has not ever been given the true rating he deserves for his love of his assignment from God to take of God's children. He loves his work, he works overtime all the time. He is available to his patients with no time limitation to when you ask questions,

There is no excuse for poor office management and I won't be returning. As pleasant as the staff is and as good as Dr. Schiano is, I will not wait one hour to see any doctor. My time is just as important as theirs. So done.

Dr. Thomas Schiano is a very knowledgeable kind and caring doctor. He has an excellent way of explaining your medical issues in a clear and compassionate manner. He is very intelligent and an expert in his field of medicine. Highly recommend!

Dr Schiano is an excellent doctor. He is very patient when it comes to answering the patient's questions as well as the family's questions. He follows up in a timely manner. No question ever goes un-answered.
