Dr. Thomas Kurt Schlesinger, MD

Ten years ago I was in danger of losing the sight in my left eye. Dr. Schlessinger saved my sight and monitored the healihng process until all was well. He could not have been more professional or polite.

Dr. Schlesinger is knowledgable and willing to share his knowledge. A treatment ... mine is for AMD ... with him always allows plenty of time for me to ask questions. I have had eye injections from a number of doctors ... both in Europe and in USA. Dr. Schlesinger possess superior finesse in making the injection. I always feel comfortable and safe.

Staff was courteous and skilled. They were able to answer questions and explain the tests they were doing. Dr. Schlesinger was relaxed and thorough in explaining my diagnosis and treatment options. He showed me all of the images taken of my eyes, answered my questions with detailed explanations. The visit felt personalized. He performed treatment with finesse ... inserting a needle through the iris ... I never felt uncomfortable and there was no pain. I had measurable positive results after one treatment. I cannot praise him or his office staff enough.

The doctor was not sure if my vision could be restored with treatment, or that I may have to have a surgery After 2 weeks of having the antigen put in my eye, my vision increased greatly. It was fortunate for me being in the middle of a semester and trying to see my textbooks. The only downfall is that he is so busy I have to wait a long time on the appt day until I can get to see him.
