Dr. Thomas James Schmeiser, DO

This is the worst Dr's office ever! They don't answer the phone. If you leave a message they don't call you back! They don't call in your refills even after suckering you in for an office visit just for that purpose! It took me 7 weeks of going up there in person to finally get my refill?? They don't call you back with test results even if life threatening! People are talking all around town about how bad this office is! BEWARE!

The doctor seems thorough and takes his time with you . He explains things to your understanding. The wait time is sometimes longer than we would like but he then spends an equal amount of time with us. I have referred 4 other people to him and they are all satisfied also.

I have gone to this doctor for a long time . Mainly because I haven't had the chance to find a better doctor. I was in the hospital for kidney stones and it took 4 weeks for them to get me in. He treats me and my husband like the scum of the earth and refuses to take the time to find out what our ailments really are, in fact, the last time I had to go in he made fun of me for being in pain, said I had arthritis in my neck and to deal with it just like 300 pound NFL football players do. I was so mad. I have never been taken care of there. I hate that office.

Rather cold doctor with short answers to questions. One hand on the door knob approach. Never followed through on some referrals.

The office staff is rude and short with patients they dont like. They are too busy talking and laughing at the desk instead of taking care of patients. Even the one nurse who has been working for Dr. Tom for quite awhile is not very friendly and lacks people skills. Dr. Tom is a great Dr. and worth the long wait to see, if only the staff was that good... I am questioning finding a different Dr.

I have seen Dr. Schmeiser and Dr. Kristen (PA) and they are both excellent. They are very thorough and spent a great deal of time with me when I needed it most. I have continued to stay with this office when I need a doctor. I cannot recommend the practice highly enough.
