Summary
Dr. Thomas Sena grew up in upstate New York. He moved to North Carolina in 1981 to do his residency in pediatrics at Duke University Medical Center. In 1984, he completed his residency and achieved board certification in pediatrics. Prior to that, he graduated Magna Cum Laude from Amherst College in Massachusetts with a degree in Biology in 1977. He earned his M.D. degree from Albany Medical College in 1981. While there, he played rugby and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He enjoys fishing, gardening and astronomy. He attends Edenton Street United Methodist Church with his wife, Sandy, and their three children and serves on the church's Health Care Committee.
