Recently had a complete thyroidectomy due to sizable nodules. Dr Shellenberger is an artist in his own right - compassionate, caring, warmth and as far as his expertise I can not say enough. I trusted his genuine caring concern for my health and post op day 5 I am emotional with satisfaction and feel blessed to have a remarkable man take care of me in a time of worry and 2020. His whole team are true professionals and I can sincerely say...I owe my life and will be forever grateful ?

Dr. Shellenberger is the most compassionate and highly skilled head and neck cancer physician. I know first hand, as I worked for him 2yrs at Banner MD Anderson. He truly cares for patients. It was a pleasure to have worked for him and seeing the difference that he makes in his patients quality of care!!!

Dr Schellenberger has been successfully treating my cancer for three years. One incident was throat cancer and more recently mouth cancer. Both times the cancer was successfully rested. I have utmost confidence in him.

I did a lot of research to find a top doc. Dr. Shellenberger removed my thyroid and you can't even see the scar on my neck. He was patient, answered all questions and had great follow-up. The surgery went very smoothly. He removed my whole thyroid since I had a large nodule on the right and a malignant tumor on the left.

I have spent over 4 years under his care at MDA and never have had such a compassionate, knowledgeable, genuine, available, dedicated physician! He treats the "whole" person and that extends to the care givers too. His work is a mission and he is incredible committed to his patients and their care. I knew I was in the best of hands good news or bad. I have been cancer free for almost 5 yrs. and I know it was because of this man and his team. Miracles happen at MDA because of professionals and human beings like him.
