Dr. Thomas Ennis Skelton

Dr. Thomas Skelton completed his dental and orthodontic school training in Houston, Texas. 
He graduated with a rank of #1 in his dental and orthodontic classes.  He earned numerous other awards and accolades including an award for excellence in periodontics.  Dr. Skelton built a successful private practice in southeast Texas, and earned the status of Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics in 1986.  He attends multiple continuing education courses each year including national and regional meetings.  The Skelton family transitioned to Colorado five years ago, since it is an area that they have always enjoyed, and they really like the cooler, drier weather.  Dr. Skelton and his wife have three children between the ages of 10 and 21.  
Dr. Skelton believes that his patients' time and opinions are valuable, and strives to maintain an accurate schedule with a minimum waiting period for his patients.  He listens to patient’s concerns about their teeth, and advises them …carefully about their complete dental health.  If consultation with the patient’s family dentist or another specialist is necessary, he is happy to coordinate the orthodontic therapy with other professionals. 
In his spare time, Dr. Skelton enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and vintage cars.  His dogs' names (top right to top left to bottom) are Mickey (October 1995 - September 2009), Molly (5 years old), Skye (3 years old), and Charlie (12 years old).  Skye was adopted in spring 2009, and Charlie was adopted in December 2010, both at the National Mill Dog Rescue located east of Colorado Springs (https://milldogrescue.org).
Dr. Skelton is excited to welcome you to a new facility with the latest technology.  All images are digital with the lowest radiation possible.  Parents are welcome to ask questions at any time during treatment.
