Doctor was knowledgeable, patient, and shared relevant information. He made me feel confident in his ability to address my problem. He gave his opinion and recommendations for follow up.

Stay away from this office if you are a Veteran. Their front desk Office manager Norma has no clue how Triwest works. She also, refused to listen to my advice on how to rectify the issue. She did not know that Dr. Skeleton doesn't treat patients that have hernia's. Because of her error it delayed my care requiring me to go back to Triwest to find another provider. Dr. Skeleton ordered a procedure for me that was covered with my original authorization from Triwest. Norma refused to believe that the procedure was covered. I contacted Triwest to confirm that the procedure was indeed covered. Triwest's supervisor Mr. OV called and left a message with Dr. Skeleton's answering machine confirming the procedure was covered. I made the appt to be called the day before from Adrianna saying my appt needed to be rescheduled. I called Triwest and ask that they call the office to confirm the procedure. I was able to keep my appt. I explained my concerns to Dr. Winston and I got no… where. Stay away from this office if you are a Veteran. Because of the pandemic things were placed on hold for several months. I called the office several times to see if Norma had solved the issue but was told she would contact Triwest and she never did. I finally was able to make an appt, only to be called the day before by Adrianna saying my appt needed to be rescheduled. I emphatically told her that wasn't going to happen. After being on hold for 35 minutes Adrianna told me that Triwest kept hanging up on her. I found that to be interesting because it has never happened to me. Norma came on the phone trying to intimidate me saying very nastly that she would call me back. I told her I would call Triwest to solve the issue. Triwest again confirmed that the procedure was covered and they also called Dr. Skeleton's office and again confirmed the appt was covered. Norma called me back to tell me the appt was still on. She never offered an apology for all of the running around that she put me through. I explained my concerns to Dr. Winston(Chief Medical Officer) and I got no where. His response to me was it seems like you want to go somewhere else. I informed that I was most definitely not returning here if I needed surgery. He then asked what did I suggest that he do. My response was to educate your staff on how Triwest works or don't accept it as an insurance carrier in your office. I reviewed the clinic note from Dr. Winston. There are many erroneous things added in the note that I never said to him. Again stay away!

Beyond his considerable surgical skill, what I also appreciate about Dr. Skelton is his ability to think beyond normal procedure, thus making each patient's issues more of a personal challenge to resolve. I was doing well after a surgical procedure, but then developed an issue not involved with the surgery but close-by. He said, lets try this medication. But when that didn't work, prescribed an entirely different approach that did not involve drugs but did solve the problem.

I would recommend Dr Skelton. He is personable, caring and attentive.

I hated I ever trusted this doctor. I know a lot of people gave him a good rating but this doctor proved not to be self serving. Not upstanding at all

Dr. Spencer is highly qualified, approachable and thorough. He took time to explain the surgery ahead of time including all possible outcomes and complications. He is a skilled surgeon who saw me daily in the hospital post-op, was concerned about my progress and answered all my questions. Overall I was very pleased and would highly recommend him to family and friends.
