They WANT you on as Manu drugs as they can give you. They never want you to get clean because that means no more money for them. This place should honestly be shut down I can't believe they are allowed to completely ruin people's lives like this. I'm begging you, if you have a loved one who is struggling, stay far far away from here.

I believe he saved mine. the staff truly care about people with no judgement. groups are interesting Informative. I have been to other prescribers through agencies in the area that are in my opinion recovery mills where they just care about getting paid with excessive weekly treatment. I do have to wait an hr or two but Dr. Small and staff will give you fifteen minutes or an hour of their time if needed.

Average wait time is 4 hours! Granted recent events have caused issues. 4 hours is not right. Dr. Smalls is compassionate but no one should have to wait over 30 minutes. The hours of wait have been steady over the past 6 months. Thankfully my job is flexible but I'm sure not all his patients have that flexibility. Do your groups or get the boot! Yes do your groups its part of the program. Should there be a fee for groups? No 15.00 per group per person everyone must complete minimum 2 groups in 4 weeks. After being in the program for excess of 5 years it's time to get off of all substances. Final straw was the waiting times and now frivolous fees, 2.00 for a water dropper, used to be free. Guess that's what happens when your a Dr and you make poor life decisions and become part of an extortion case, gotta make that money up you lost in excess of 500k. Honestly he used to be much more compassionate since the extortion he's changed his ways of practice and that has affected my urge to put… together an exit strategy that won't make me sick with withdrawals

Dr. Small and Paula Are the only two ive ever seen who truly care about there patients. I have been to many doctors in my life and have never met anyone who truly cared about my health and feelings. If your looking for a doctor who really cares about you and will go out of there way to help you get your life on track look no further.

I have been going here for several years. For over 5 years all I heard was how great I was doing. There was never any issues at all with me falling off the wagon. In fact there was never any issue with anything. I was even told that he wished all his patients were doing as well as I am. All was great and I was very happy with the care I was receiving. I was only required to see him once every two months. All of a sudden on one visit Dr. Small informs me that there are new laws in place regarding the prescribing of Suboxone. It is federal law that I see him once a month now. In addition to seeing him once a month it is also required that I go to meetings at his office twice per month. These meeting cost $15 ea. In total I have close to eight years of sobriety. These meetings I was told would be very helpful to me. It is 60 miles of driving to get these meetings. It went from being reasonable to being ridiculous. The meetings are a silly waste of time for me. Once per month I must… give up a full half day to attend these. Yes, I am very angry. I did some research on the supposed new law. It turned out Dr. Small made that story up as there is no such laws that exist. When pressed about it he informed me that he told me it will probably be made into law. I don't like being lied to by a man who is supposedly there to help me. This same man told me how important it is for me to be honest with him. Looking for a new doctor...

Dr. Smalls & Paula are the best Doctors around. They really care about their patience~ Its been five years since I started there & I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. I recommend everyone and anyone I know with an addiction to go to Meridian Medicine.
