Dr. Thomas Rayford Spruill, MD

I had never seen a psychiatrist but Dr Spruill was referred to me when I was in a state of grief and could not sleep or function well, He was kind and his concern was genuine. I would highly recommend him to anyone and have. It has been years since I have needed his services but I wanted to leave this review for those looking for a solid professional.

I have been seeing Dr. Spruill for 8+ years, first for depression (per other psychs) then diagnosed as bipolar. When medications became less effective, he stood by me through ECT and several changes in meds as needed over the years. Dr. Spruill always listens attentively, responds to my needs same day if required, is consistently welcoming and responds to my personality effectively. I have the upmost respect for Dr. Spruill and Pam, his secretary. Dr. Spruill has given me the support and medical care to endure the most difficult of times in managing my mental illness. I highly recommend Dr. Spruill and am so thankful I found him.

Dr. Spruill is a very caring physician---He listens----he displays much empathy---he is very meticulous when it come to prescribing medications----he responds quickly even it means returning calls after hours--he has proven to be an efficient as well as effective Psychiatrist----I would feel extremely confident in referring a family member and/or a best friend to him--Thank you Dr. Spruill!!

Dr. Spruill is an excellent health care provider. He always extends his "Best" for all his patients. I find his level of caring can't be beat even when compared to other doctors I see. Always on time, he gives you all the time you need every time.He has worked with me for 11 years, and now our time basically consists of him determining whether I am still at my best.Excellent choice for anyone that is in need of his specialtyHe always calls you back the same day you call his office when you need him to do so. This can't be said of many doctors. I find he has always had an excellent bedside manner, and I would ceretainly know, as long as I have been going to his practice.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!!!!
