Dr. Thomas Edward Stiles, MD

I was referred to Dr. Stiles for a follow-up on test results indicating Cushings. The staff asked me to repeat lab work which requires debilitating prep for me. I requested that the rest of the tests which require the same prep be ordered at the same time. The staff became incensed at this request, repeatedly yelling at me on the phone. After weeks of berating, I finally acquiesced to their demands. At that point they cancelled my appointment and the secretary proclaimed she was too smart for me and found any questioning by patients unworkable.

As a member of the medical profession I am very picky about my doctors and Dr. Stiles makes the grade. He is one of the best diagnosticians I have ever come across. Yes, sometimes you have to wait. However that is due to the fact that he spends as much time with a patient as they need - doesn't just boot you in & out of your 15 min appointment slot. When I have to wait I remind myself that he spends extra time with me when needed so I don't begrudge the wait. Imagine that - a doctor who actually spends the time to listen to you and explain things to you, and who cares about your treatment. Top notch qualaity care - If you want the best see Dr. Stiles.

I no longer have the same insurance, so I cannot see Dr. Stiles now. He's fabulous. Best primary care Dr. I ever had.

I have known Dr. Stiles for 15+ years. He has always been unfailingly interested in my condition, willing to listen and offer feedback and generous with his time and expertise. I appreciate him immensely.

He dignosed an anemia problem my other DR missed for years, and he's kind and caring.

i would not recommend this doctor to my worst enemy. Waited 1.5 hours in waiting room before appointment. Doctor didn't introduce himself when he entered the exam room, I had to do that. No apology for wait time. Spoke into his cassette recorder rather than me. Told the recorder I had a respiratory infection. Never looked me in the eye to convey this, just assumed I could listen in. Didn't seem to be at all interested in his patients. Very disappointing given that his office staff and nurses were so kind and professional. Do yourself a favor, find another doctor.

He is a very smart,caring doctor who will take the time to explain everything to you. I drive about one hour to see him and it is always worth it. I couldn't recommend him highly enough. He goes to the root of the problem every time and will carefully listen to your concerns. You can trust his diagnoses, they are always accurate! I am amazed by his expertise. Also, he has an amazing staff!
