Dr. Thomas Raymond Swanson, MD

I’m laughing right now because I read other review of a woman in Southern California suffering at the loss of Dr Swanson. We should start a support group! He altered the trajectory of my life and I nearly got PTSD when he planned to retire! After 16 years you become quite dependent.. but what I wish to share was when I was his patient I was a nurse for a disabled forcibly retired physician who was profoundly depressed. Dr Swanson is one of two psychiatrists down in Orange County that is “triple boarded.” Being board certified in geriatrics I knew he could help my patient. I will never forget wheeling him out of the office and he asked me to stop - this incredible man broke down in tears. He looked up at me and said “thank you- that is the kindliest fellow I’ve ever met.” That is Dr Swanson. If your parent or anyone needs help not only it is expert it is compassionate.,

I was Dr Swansons patient in Orange County California. He literally saved my life. I never found a doctor as kind, attentive, wise and with a sense of humor as him. I miss him dearly and wish his practice would be closer to where I am living. Love you and miss you Dr. Swanson! Irina G
