Dr. Thomas Ira Sweet, MD

What a poor excuse for a doctor, screaming at his own staff, then at a patient. Just a foghorn of a pontificating amateur. What a waste of time to anyone suffering from cancer. Put this fellow behind a broom where he belongs, please dear God.

This physician is terrible. He demonstrates little to no concern for treatment side effects and has very poor people skills. Despite a diagnosis of cancer, he never wanted to meet me or conduct in-person exams, even while sending me to a year of immunotherapy. So much can be missed by merely treating a patient with 10 minute phone calls every six weeks. He was dismissive and uncaring. I felt like a lab rat to him, not a patient. If you're assigned to this man, take charge of your healthcare and transfer to another oncologist!

I met Dr. Sweet when I was in the ER and he ended up being my Hematologist. He was so nice and understanding of my situation and he saw me all three days I was in the ER. He took the time to explain my diagnosis and the next steps I should be taking once I am released to go home. After completing my labs, (every week for at least 6 weeks or more) he called me the same day or the next day and talked about my lab results. I have never had a more caring, kind, and considerate doctor before. I never saw him again in person and still currently each time I do labs having to do with my anemia (Hematology), he will call and talk to me about the results. There have been many doctors that take a very long time to return my calls or have some sort of attitude when speaking to me if I have questions, but Dr. Sweet is super nice and takes the time to answer my questions. I am very appreciative and thankful to have Dr. Sweet as a treating Hematology doctor for these past few months. Anyone who is… treated by him will be in good hands and with should have no worries if their doctor cares or wants the best course of treatment. Dr. Sweet is the best. Thank you for everything. Dr. Sweet is an intensly serious but caring and empathetic "miracle worker." Would not trade him for any other oncologist available after two years of treatment for stage 4 lymphoma.

My husband has been seeing Dr. Sweet for 10 years for treatment of Multiple Myeloma. Dr. Sweet is personable and compassionate. He always makes my husband feel comfortable and confident in his choices for treatment. We cannot express how much we appreciate this very kind & talented doctor.

Terrible if you have this guy as your oncologist, get a second opinion. Your life may depend on it.

Dr sweet all you have done is give my mom antibodies when are you going to help her detox her colon she needs help and will only listen to you. All you do is medication not detox her her colon where it is being stored . She needs help from all your poison
