Dr. Thomas Joseph Synan, MD

I have been a patient of Dr Synan since he first got out of medical school. As far back as 27 years according to my records. He has helped me SO much throughout the years, even after he left Bedford Internal Medicine, I was able to follow him to St Joe's in Nashua. I have seen dozens of doctors over the years for my complicated spinal problems, and none of them were as sincere and truly concerned about my overall health and various problems as Dr Synan was. I say was, because he has recently left Riverside Medical (St Joe's) to practice at the VA. Since I am not a veteran, I was unable to follow him this time around. This makes me incredibly sad! He is such a caring doctor, he seems more like a friend to me than a doctor, and in my opinion, that's a huge compliment. He always spent as much time as necessary to address each and every concern I had at every appointment. You will not find a better doctor in the state of NH, and I don't say that lightly! I only wish I… could have remained as his patient. If you are reading this Dr Synan, I sincerely wish you the best of luck with your future in the medical field, and in life also. You are the BEST! I can only hope that someday our paths will cross again. I could go on and on about what a great doctor he is, but I think you get the idea. Dr Synan takes the time with you to make sure he understands what your issues are and to ensure that you understand what the problem is. Extremely knowledgeable and excellent communicator. Best doctor I ever had.

The best doctor in NH

My previous Primary Care doctor of 12 years decided that she did not want me as a patient anymore. Her employer in Nashua has a 90 minute Waiting Time sign in their Urgent Care Facility. I was experiencing severe chest pains following my open heart surgery with 5 grafts done. I drove to Urgent Care as it was 2 minutes away. The waiting room was empty. A very young girl was on duty at the admitting window. However, she was too interested in her phone or tablet to notice me standing at her desk. I told her of my chest pain, and she pointed to the sign "90 minute Waiting Time". She failed to call 911. I filed a complaint in person. My next visit to my Primary Care doctor, I was told that she did not want to continue as my doctor. I had an emotional breakdown in her office and she retracted her statement. A short time later, my doctor quit for the second and final time. Here is a brief summary of my previous experience with her. She failed to show up for our appointment and never… told her Staff to cancel it. She sent a letter to Medicare to get approval for a CPAP machine for me. She sent documentation that was outdated which wasted several months before the process could begin. She failed to send a needed prescription to Walgreens which took three weeks after the Pharmacist called my doctor. My present Doctor Thomas Synan, is very friendly and has a sincere interest in my health. His office is well staffed and greet me when I have an appointment. Dr. Synan is a very compassionate MD cares about his patients. We had been patients at Granite State Internal Mediicine since doctor Synan came to Manchester. We miss going to see him he would spend so much time with you explaning and discussing any concerns you had. Dr. Synan is a well liked MD we miss him very much. Please come back.

Dr Synan is the best doctor very compassionate cared about his patients. Would spend time with you and answered all your questions and concerns. Had the best bedside manner I had been seeing doctor Synan for almost twenty yrs sad to hear he is no longer practicing at this office. Will leave office to find another pcp since Dr Synan no longer practicing here.

I was so sick and Dr. Synan figured out my problem and gave me the right medicine. I finally feel better. I highly recommend Dr. Synan.
