Prior to that he was with Kaiser Permanente for eight years where he was a staff orthopedic surgeon and chief of the orthopedic surgery department. Dr. Thomas is a consulting orthopedic surgeon for several university, college, and high school athletic teams. Before coming to Fresno, he was in private practice in Washington State.
Dr. Thomas graduated from medical school at The University of Utah in 1986. He did training in general surgery at the University of California, San Diego and then completed residency training at the San Francisco Orthopaedic Residency Training Program in 1991.
Dr. …Thomas is originally from Ogden, Utah. He married Ellen Mathias of Porterville. They have six wonderful children. Dr. Thomas' interests are: family, church, outdoor activities, and sports of all kinds.
