Summary
    A fourth generation coal miner, Dr. Thomas L. Thomasson worked in underground coal mines to help finance his undergraduate school. He was accepted to Dental school and as an alternate to Medical school. After two and a half years of undergraduate study, he elected to attend Dental school. Dr. Thomasson graduated with honors from the West Virginia School of Dentistry in 1975 and received five academic, clinical and West Virginia State scholarships. He also served as Class President all four years in Dental school. Additionally, he was the recipient of a U.S. Naval Dental Scholarship and served three years with an honorable discharge after successfully completing prosthetic (crowns and dentures) and surgical rotations.
    Moving to Denver, Colorado in 1978, Dr. Thomasson began his private practice in general dentistry. Upon the realization that he himself had a temporomandibular joint dysfunction, he included the treatment of craniomandibular disorder and …associated head, neck and facial pain in 1980. Since that time he has diagnosed and treated over 8,000 patients.
    His family consists of his wife - Karen, two daughters - Andrea and Leslie, four grandchildren - Michael Riley, Makenna, Blake and Addison, two cockapoos - Molly and Many, and one fat cat - Micah.
    Dr. Thomasson has lectured nationally and internationally, and is currently involved in research in biomolecular tissue regeneration, autoimmune compromise, early osteoporosis, and the effects of all three nitic oxide molecules. He is presently a member of the following organizations:

Colorado Dental Association
Metropolitan Denver Dental Society
American Orthodontic Society
