Dr. Thomas Scott Turry

Dr. Thomas Turry has resided in the Forest Lake area since 1984. He and his wife, Cindy, have three grown children. Dr. Turry earned his undergraduate degree at Hamline University, followed by his DDS degree at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Dr. Turry has been practicing dentistry in Forest Lake since 1986. Dr. Turry enjoys spending time with his family and friends, being involved in his church, golfing, hiking and outdoor activities.
Dr. Gates left retirement to continue practicing what he truly enjoys... dentistry. In 2003, he joined Dr. Turry's practice on a part-time basis. Dr. Gates was raised in Minneapolis and completed his dental training at the University of Minnesota. He and his wife live in North Branch, where they enjoy country living. Dr. Gates' interests are gardening, home projects, building furniture and travel. A favorite destination of his is North Carolina, where his two grandchildren reside.
Karen has been employed as Dr. Turry's office manager …since 1988. Her responsibilities include front desk duties, assisting patients with insurance plans, working with patients in providing financial arrangements for treatment and managing personnel. Karen enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends.
Sheri has worked as a licensed dental assistant in Dr. Turry's office since 1987. She received her dental education from Lakeland Dental Academy. Outside of the dental office, Sheri has enjoyed working part-time, as an EMT-ll, for North Memorial Ambulance. She can also be found skiing the slopes at Wild Mountain, working as a ski patroller.
Alana, a licensed dental assistant for nine years, has worked in Dr. Turry's office since 2008. When not chair side, Alana enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going up north to her cabin, traveling and participating in the Relay for Life Cancer Walk.
Bonnie has enjoyed working as a dental hygienist for over 23 years and has been a part of Dr. Turry's staff since 2000. She enjoys participating in outdoor activities, gardening and spending time with family.
Annette has been employed as a licensed dental assistant in Dr. Turry's office since 2000. In addition to assisting dentists you will sometimes find her working with Karen at the front desk. Annette is responsible for ordering all office dental supplies. Outside of the office Annette enjoys spending time with family and friends, volunteering at church, horseback riding, four-wheeling, camping, skiing and working with children.
Joanne has worked as a dental hygienist, with Dr. Turry's practice, since 1990. She genuinely enjoys all aspects of dentistry and helps in the dental office in a variety of ways. In Joanne's free time she enjoys sewing and spending time with family.
Heather has been active in the dental field since 2004, currently employed as a dental hygienist in Dr. Turry's office. She received her degree in dental hygiene from Herzing University. Prior to pursuing her hygiene degree she worked as a dental assistant in Dr. Turry's office. Heather is enthusiastic about all areas of dentistry and she also enjoys helping at the front desk of the dental office. She enjoys time spent with friends and weekends with her family at her northern Minnesota cabin.
Sheena has been a dental hygienist with our office since July 2008. She received her dental hygiene degree from Argosy University. Sheena enjoys gardening, bowling, traveling and spending time with her family.
