He ordered tests I didn't need to schedule a colonscopy. I didn't do them but his office billed for them anyway. My health account paid him without my approval. I have been demanding my money back for almost a month now without success. I will not recommend this doctor.

I have been with dr ullman for many years .he has saved my life.the most professional compassionate man.you won't find better.

He never rushes through appointments. He is knowledgeable and compassionate. His voice is very calming. Sometimes you have to wait before he sees you, but as far as I am concerned, if another patient needs more time he or she should get it. He apologizes if you have to wait. His staff is very helpful.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ullman's for over TEN years he is amazing and as someone who has had multiple surgeries and was very sick for many years I would be LOST with out him. He is kind and caring. YES he is VERY busy but you MUST explain your urgency and he WILL call back. He has made time to come see me while in the hospital even when he did not need to. Simply stated he is the BEST GI EVER!

I have had UC for over 50 years, and Dr Ullman is the worst Gastroenterologist I have ever been to. He is arrogant, vain, and dismissive of patients. He does not answer questions or return phone calls or emails. He told me he and his staff do not make appeals to insurance companies. He has hung up in the middle of a telephone call. His office is also unresponsive. I was told that I absolutely had to come to an appointment during a snowstorm, and then he never showed up. That’s when I left his practice. All talk and no action.

This guy doesn’t do call backs. You can be in pain on the way to the hospital and he still won’t call you back. You can’t count on him coming through in your time of need. Please don’t waste your money

I have been a patient of Dr. Ullman for 12 years. He is knowledgeable, compassionate and works with you and understands your concerns about different treatments. His office is prompt and courteous. You just need to plan your appointments a month or so in advance. He answers emails via My Chart within 24 hours usually.

My daughter has a severe case of Crohn's disease and has had 2 major surgeries. She has been seeing Dr. Ullman for 2+ years. She recently had an MRI because she has not been feeling well and was trying to contact Dr. Ullman for the results. She started calling at 9:00 a.m. on Friday and left 2 messages during the day and never received a response.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ullman's for over ten years and may be one of his original patients so I have seen him evolve to a great Dr. who YES is busy and YES may sometimes forget to call back BUT that is to be expected with a busy man call again. I absolutely LOVE him and know that he is the best and has helped me in sooo many ways. He has called me from his cell on his own free time and visits with me even if he is not needed for my care in the hospital. Simply stated he is the BEST!!!! and his office is very efficient.
