I had an excellent experience during my visit . Doctor Van Dinter was extremely professional from start to finish and made me feel comfortable right away. He took the time to explain everything in great detail, making sure I fully understood my condition and the next steps. I never felt rushed, and he patiently answered all of my questions with clarity and care. What stood out the most was how he truly went above and beyond to ensure I felt informed and confident about my treatment. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and compassionate physician.

Dr. Van Dinter is fantastic. He's very knowledgeable and personable. He gave me so much of his time and attention. He genuinely cares about the patient's health, needs, and concerns.

If I could give no stars I would! I don't write reviews, but this is us VERY necessary. I was seeing a phenomenal GI, but I went on disability and got on Medicare. The secondary Medicare Insurance Co I currently use was not accepted by the doctors office so I had to get a new gastroenterologist. I asked the Gastroenterologist I was seeing whom he would recommend that takes my new insurance and he recommended Dr. Van Dinter. Right away I called and made a new patient appointment with a 5 month wait. As hard as that was to swallow, I figured it would be worth the wait. I struggle with extreme stomach problems and drastic weight loss. My health is scary and in desperate need of help. With the pandemic, it made it hard to get testing and the treatment I needed from my past GI. I was in high hopes Dr. Van Dinter could shine some light on my condition and a possible diagnosis. Well.. 2 weeks before my appointment, I get a call from the office telling me Dr Van Dinter didn't want to see me… because I was looking for a second opinion. I was so caught off guard on this and in shock. First of all, NOT TURE! Had no idea why or how he thought that! I told the office, that was not true and I am looking for a new Dr because my old one doesn't accept my health insurance. She told me she would pass the information on to him and see what he wants to do. The next day I get another call telling me, we'll he doesn't want to see me because I am a transfer. Wow.. just wow! From one excuse to another! Why not just say he doesn't want new patients?! What kind of doctor does this after a 5 month wait?! I broke down crying on the phone telling them I just don't understand and I desperately need help with my condition. All I was told, was sorry. And my appointment was then cancelled. I wasn't looking for a 2nd opinion, but who cares if I was?! So very many people search for 2nd opinions. And MOST patients are transfers from other Dr offices. I just don't understand! If that is how he treats patients before he even sees them, I can only image the in-person treatment from him. No thank you! Hopefully it's a blessing in disguise that he didn't want to see me. I had to again find a NEW Dr with another 5 month wait. If you are looking for a new gastroenterologist, don't even bother with Dr. Van Dinter!

Did an initial consoling with Dr and all went well at that point. He prescribed some new RX to a problem. But after I started taking that RX, it made my problems worst. I stopped taking and called to setup a follow appointment to discuss it. They told me it would take 2 months to get an appointment and this is when I was having issues with an RX he prescribed. If its take 2 months for get followup appointments, they should be taken in new patients.
