Dr. Viehe has been treating my arthritic ankles for several years with periodic cortisone shots. Very effective. Great doc and a good guy.

I came in with severe shoulder pain while temporarily staying in Wisconsin. My doctor in Georgia had already given me two cortisone shots and noted a possible small tendon tear during an ultrasound. I already have an MRI scheduled when I return home in a few months. I explained all of this clearly, but the doctor here insisted on X-rays first, which I had to pay for out of pocket. After a very brief exam, he refused to do a cortisone shot without a new MRI done locally, even though I told him one was already scheduled. He said giving the shot without it would be “bad medicine” and that he could get in trouble. To me, it felt like he was more concerned about protecting himself than helping someone in serious pain. I left with no treatment, unnecessary charges, and no relief. It was a complete waste of time and money. I would not recommend this provider if you're looking for thoughtful or compassionate care.

Dr. Viehe has an outstanding bedside manner and he listens to your concerns. I recently saw him about pain in my toe and I’m scheduled to see a podiatrist and have a toe filler made. I highly recommend him .

Dr. Viehe provided me with the best care in my recent foot surgery. From my first appointment to my final appointment, he treated me with respect and great care. He explained everything to me in great detail on how the surgery was going to go and what to expect for recovery. It was a great experience with a fantastic outcome. Dr Viehe and staff were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. They diagnosed my torn achilles and scheduled surgery in one quick and easy visit. I even left with the perfectly fitted boot from their PT supply area. My surgery went perfectly and recovery followed the path he predicted. Dr.Thomas Viehe recently performed a meniscus repair. The surgery generated excellent results, in no time I was heeled. Dr. Viehe is extremely professional, has tremendous respec for his patients, and he is a very kind person.
