Dr. Thomas Waddington, MD

I had an appointment with Dr. Waddington to remove a chest catheter. He neglected to inform me, either by phone, email or portal to stop using Eliquis for five days prior to the appt. I drove 200 miles for nothing from him. I consider him a bad apple at City of Hope.

Without benefit of a biopsy, he determined I had third stage lung cancer. This caused an uproar in my family. It was all for naught when I got a clean bill of health 2 weeks later at the Univ. of Penn. Terrible, terrible performance.

I have only known him about a year. I was taken to the hospital with a collapsed lung.He is such a nice Dr. and a caring physician. I feel so bad that he is going back to California. I wish him all the best. Not to often you find a aCaring Dr. I would give him 5 stars.

If it weren't for Dr Waddington I may be dead right now. Turned out to be blockage of widow maker artery. My follow up wasn't necessary, but it was the staff who dropped the ball on this.

Dr. Waddington, without benefit of a biopsy, indicated I had third stage lung. He had my family in an uproar. About 21 days later, the docs at UPENN tested me and found nothing.
