This physician was dismissive of my husband's concerns during an ER visit and condescendingly asked why was he here. Furthermore, he proclaimed there was nothing wrong with him. My husband died of undiagnosed lung cancer two months later. guess there was something wrong with him.

I got the impression that my situation wasn’t serious enough for him. My doctor had sent me there and when we said that he said, “Well, I guess they want me to run a bunch of tests, so I will.” I asked him what tests, how were they performed, and what were they for. He quickly told me the tests names (no help!) and left the room. The sweet nurse ended up explaining it all for me. Then, after all tests were done, he was going to discharge me with a BP of 205/111. It wasn’t until my husband questioned that, he considered giving me another dose of IV med to bring it down. When the nurse came in she said they wouldn’t discharge me until it was lower. He was not empathetic at all! Did not seem to care one bit! When you’re in the ER you want a friendly, empathetic doctor to calm your fears!!

I watched him lecture my mom about how she is a waste of time. He had 25 patients today. So that plus paperwork means he has no time to further help my mother. The second time he came into the room, he literally stood at the clock to physically point to how much of his time she has wasted. He said he just can’t spend anymore time on it. He can’t help her. As my mom sits there degraded and in physical pain. I simply asked “ did you become a doctor to not give extra time to a patient in need ? “ He stuttered, jumped up, and yet again left the room. Imagine going to the ER in pain. And having a doctor tell you that your wasting his time when he spend most of that time saying “ I can’t help you “. He kept saying “ what do you want me to do “ as if my mother was the one with a medical degree. Hands down the worst doctor I have ever had the misfortune to know.
