Dr. Thomas Spann Wheeler, MD

I had an appointment with Dr. Wheeler on July 25, 2025, and while I arrived on time, my experience was quite disappointing for several reasons. Firstly, I acknowledge that I did not complete the required paperwork beforehand, which unfortunately led to the cancellation of my appointment. However, what compounded my frustration was the fact that Dr. Wheeler was running late with another patient. This inconsistency made me feel that my time was not valued, especially since I had arrived punctually. After learning that my appointment was canceled, I requested to speak with the office supervisor. I waited in the lobby for over 15 minutes, hoping for a different outcome given that the doctor was delayed. Unfortunately, when I finally spoke to the supervisor, she informed me that I would need to reschedule due to the paperwork issue. While I understand the importance of completing forms, it felt unreasonable to cancel my appointment outright, especially when the doctor was not available on… time. The overall lack of communication and flexibility from the staff was disappointing. I left feeling frustrated and undervalued as a patient. I believe that better communication regarding the paperwork and a more accommodating approach in light of the doctor's delay could have significantly improved my experience. I hope that the office can address these issues to ensure a smoother and more patient-centric experience in the future.
