Dr. Thomas Gerard Zorc, MD

I had surgery on my arm with Dr. Thomas Zork and I could not be happier with the care I received or the results. He was thorough and reassuring, and he took the time to make sure I understood everything throughout the diagnosis, surgery, and recovery. I felt his genuine concern and professionalism from start to finish. I had absolutely no pain during or after the procedure. His staff was amazing and made the entire experience comfortable. The surgery went beautifully and there is barely a scar. I felt well cared for every step of the way and I highly recommend Dr. Zork.

I highly recommend Dr. Zorc and his wonderful dedicated staff. Throughout the whole procedure I had full confidence in Dr. Zorc's surgical skills, knowledge and expertise. He really took the time to answer all questions in advance of the surgery. HIs staff were so kind and reassuring at all times. The post-op treatment was very thorough and diligent. A first class service displaying kindness and empathy at all times for the patient.

Dr. Zorc is one of the best doctors I have ever had. He has treated me, several of my family members, and friends, and all would agree. He takes time to explain the procedure before and after and is very thorough. He is exactly what you want in a doctor. He has a wonderful bedside manner and treats all patients as if they are family. He never rushes you and always check in to make sure you are taken care of. He is one of a kind and I feel very lucky to have a doctor like Dr. Zorc in my life.

Dr. Zorc is a very thorough, patient and caring physician. He takes the time to explain conditions, procedures and puts his patients at ease. Everyone I have interacted with at his practice has been knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I feel completely confident in Dr. Zorc’s surgical skills, knowledge and experience.

Dr Zorc is tremendous. He explains everything and has great bedside manner. My mom had surgery and we had the utmost confidence in him.

When I asked 5 different medical professionals who I should use for an incisional hernia surgery, 2 recommended Dr. Zorc and both described him as “meticulous.” I couldn’t agree more. The surgery took longer than anticipated (5.5 hrs v. 2.0 hrs), largely because Dr. Zorc had to repair 14 hernias as opposed to the 2 he had id’d using ultrasound. He took his time and, in my view, did a great job. Recovery went off w/o a hitch w/ almost no pain and the last of the staples coming out 3 weeks after the surgery.

I was particularly blessed to find Dr. Zorc. I had a very complex surgery for gallbladder removal, and because of the complexity, he had to take considerably more time and skill than the usual gallbladder removal. He took great interest in me and what was best for me and I came to trust him completely.

Dr. Zorc is simply superb. I have been his patient for three surgeries (most recently in mid-2018), and in each instance could not possibly have been more pleased with the diagnosis, pre-op preparation, surgical procedures and post-op follow-up (and the results!). He is extremely careful and attentive to detail, fully sensitive to a patient's concerns and desire for information, and truly takes great pride in his work. Perhaps most impressive and helpful is Dr. Zorc's "bedside manner" during office appointments. Every single question that I raised -- about diagnosis, surgical procedures, alternatives, risks, anticipated outcomes, recovery and follow-up care -- was answered patiently and thoroughly in easy-to-understand language with helpful examples. I was never made to feel rushed, and always felt as though my medical issue had his full and thoughtful attention. Post-op follow-up is excellent, and his staff is outstanding. Dr. Zorc and his surgical practice have my… highest recommendation.

Dr. Zorc helped me through a difficult episode of intestinal obstruction caused by adhesions from earlier surgery. He was right on with his advice and his skill and persistence allowed him to accomplish the surgery laparoscopically saving me a lengthy and painful recovery.
