I am so grateful to have been in Boston at the right time and had my emergency Aortic Valve replacement performed by the best cardiac surgeon I could have ever hoped for! Not only brilliant, but kind. Thank you Dr. Sundt.

My husband had a second valve replacement a year-and-a-half ago and his surgeon was Dr. Thoralf Sundt. We were truly amazed at the outcome and we owe the success to Dr. Sundt and his exceptional team. What a blessing to have this man at MGH. His kind nature and expertise was truly comforting during this stressful event. We are so very grateful to have had Dr. Sundt perform the surgery. I would definitely recommend Dr. Sundt. He is top notch and very caring.

Had open heart surgery 4 years ago to repair a mitral valve and Dr. Sundt was the best throughout the entire stay @ MGH. He assured me that he could fix it and he did so, as well as follow up to make sure all went well. No better person to handle your heart issues...amazing individual.

If you must place your life in the hands of someone other than God. He is your man. Don't care for doctors very much. He is the exception.

Very arrogant person. Full of himself and his abilities. Does not treat others nicely. I would not recommend him to anyone. MGH is in trouble to have him as a chief.
