Dr. Thrassos Stephen Calligas, MD

Dr. Calligas is a single practitioner with no office staff, and callbacks can take a little while, but he has a pager for emergencies. My son has complex mental health issues and Dr. Calligas is by far the best psychiatrist we have found to deal with his issues. He has an impressive depth of knowledge and experience.

Unless you are sitting in front of the doctor you will not talk to him. Our family has been seeing him for a number of years now and he does not return phone calls, even when calling his "emergency line". We have stayed with him untill recently because he would write prescriptions without haveing to go in and see him. However in recent emergencies his inability to provide assistance has caused us to changed doctors. Good luck
