Dr. Tia Danyel Olds, MD

I do not doubt that Dr. Olds followed insurance companies and current medical practice standard protocol. I am however, extremely disappointed that she did not warn me of the post-radiation problems I would experience for YEARS following radiation, nor did she share the research that shows that shows only a one percent greater survival rate 10 years post diagnosis with radiation versus only surgery in lobular invasive breast cancer. I never would have gone through all the suffering I went through from radiation if I had been made aware of the research and the debilitating side effects. I would like to excuse her because she followed standard practice, but I will not excuse her or forgive her because doctors are accountable for informing patients and she did not do that in any shape or manner.

Wonderful doctor and staff. All my questions were answered and I felt care for which meant a lot because I was very sick during most of the treatment (also had chemo).

Surprised by other comments. Dr. Olds spent a lot of time with me & my husband during the consult and explained everything very well. Dr. Olds, the nurses and techs got me through a really difficult time in my life and I'm very grateful!

While Dr. Olds seems to be a knowledgeable oncologist, she seems to lack in giving patients more needed information to help a person understand their situation and why certain decisions are being made.
