Dr. Tiana King, DNP, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC, DipACLM

Dr. Tiana King is a triple board-certified nurse practitioner and the founder of Integral Health & Healing, PLLC, an integrative psychiatry and lifestyle medicine practice serving patients via telehealth across Florida, Arizona, and Massachusetts.

Her path into healthcare began in 2001 as a CNA, giving her a ground-level understanding of patient care that has shaped her clinical philosophy ever since. She went on to become an LPN and RN, earning her BSN from Arizona State University in 2009, and spent years as a travel nurse across acute and outpatient care settings, including cardiac/neuro progressive care, transplant, perioperative care, and psychiatric settings. From the very beginning, she looked at the whole person rather than just a set of symptoms, with lifestyle as a foundational focus in how she approached care.

In 2022, she completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice at Arizona State University, with a doctoral pilot study …focused on plant-based diets and Type 2 diabetes. While working in primary care, she saw a real gap in mental health care — patients whose emotional and psychiatric needs weren't being fully met. That gap led her to pursue her Post-Master's Certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, which she completed in December 2025, gaining hands-on experience with ketamine infusion therapy, Spravato (esketamine), and TMS. In 2024, she also completed her Diplomate of Lifestyle Medicine.

Dr. King specializes in trauma-focused psychotherapy and psychiatric care, treating PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and imposter syndrome, among other concerns. Her clinical framework draws on polyvagal theory, attachment theory, somatic approaches, the Adaptive Information Processing (AIP) model, neurobiology, and memory reconsolidation, with two distinct pathways for treating event trauma versus attachment wounds. She completed an intensive 6-month Mastering Trauma training through Rebuilt Women, deepening her expertise in trauma-focused clinical work.

Beyond her clinical specialties, Dr. King has pursued a range of advanced and complementary trainings that inform her broader perspective on healing, including plant-based nutrition certification from Cornell University, Reiki practitioner certification, shamanic yoga training in Peru, Ayurvedic studies in India, Chi Nei Tsang training in Thailand, and aromatherapy training in New York City.
