Dr. Tibor A Racz, MD

Have been a patient for soooo many years and would not think of having anyone but Dr. Racz.; and my Son drives me quite a while for my appt. Also, Peggy is truly a jewel.

The worst staff ever went to him have a pain pump refilled was told when got there UPS truck broke down then was told bye him go get something to eat come back with a ibetter attitude all this was lie the medicine was never ordered after being there five hours.You can forget them returning a call they want VERY HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND HIM STAY AWAY.

He failed to properly sedate me during a procedure and I woke up screaming. Never happened in 20+ years of chronic pain issues. He has a set med list that EVERY patient is given with no tailoring to each patient. If you explain why you need X or Y, he just blows you off. Arrogant, cocky, way too worried about his appearance than medicine. I could go on and on. Just please know I've never posted a bad review on someone before but I had to when it came to this man.

The absolute worst dr ever! I went to him to put in a new spinal cord stimulator for my chronic back pain. At first he seemed great... very caring, attentive, and professional. However, I come to find out later that he was never really listening to me. He could remember one appointment to the next what we decided in the previous appointments. I work as a bedside nurse in a busy ICU that involves a lot of bending, lifting, and standing. He told me that after my procedure I would need to have 6 weeks of restrictions that includes no bending or lifting more than 8 pounds and in order to have a positive outcome from my surgery. Well 2 weeks before my scheduled procedure, he proceedes to tell me that he would only sign my short term disability paperwork for 2 weeks because his office “doesn’t do short term disability for their patients”. I had to spend $350 for an appointment to talk with him because his uselss NP Peggy wouldn’t advocate for me. Eventually, he grants me 4 weeks off of work… and the rest of the time I had to go without pay. How can you say I have to follow restrictions to have a positive outcome then make it impossible for me to succeed?? If it was up to him I would have been back lifting patients at 2 weeks potentially harming my body or implant. Peggy seemed to care less about my post op pain and even asked me why I was acting like it was hurting so much even though I had swelling the size of an egg over my spine. I should have known better than to trust him with my back... I still have no relief and hope to get this horrible implant out of me soon. Please do yourself a favor and find another doctor. Trust me, as a nurse, this is not the doctor you want taking care of you or your loved one.

I have been seeing Dr Racz for 10 years. He is an excellent pain mgmt doctor when it comes to injections and his office visits. However, his staff has always been bad and is currently the absolute worst he’s ever had! I agree with what others have said, Peggy is useless - but his surgery coordinator Dena is incompetent and doesn’t know her job. Some new girl Haddie, claiming to be the office manager takes the cake on being rude! After 10 years of truly great care by Dr Racz and many successful injections, I am looking for a new pain management doctor.

Never an option to change Drs. Dr Racz I'd the only Doctor who has made life changing progress with my pain management. His office staff who even though are new have made the exhaisting regiem much more tolerable. I hope it continues. A smile when you walk in can make all the difference.

I have been knowing Dr. Racz for years he is a great doctor. He has had some staff changes lately and for the better!

I have been a patient of Dr. Racz for twelve years. Beyond being Board Certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management, he is capable, competent, and kind. His associate, Ms. Wright, is similarly capable. When I have an appointment with Dr. Racz, I feel safe and respected, knowing that my medical pain needs are in good hands. He is at once ethically guided and his primary goal is my health and my being pain free. In those areas, he is masterful in practicing his craft. I am grateful that I found him. Dr. Race pretends to hear you and express empathy but proceeds to do exactly what he wants without your concerns being addressed. He also thinks it’s fine to accept the MRI report rather than actually looking at the MRI itself. This, even after I had questions about what was in the MRI scans. The injection was the single most painful and upsetting experience in 2 decades of living with chronic pain.

I have had many injections in the past by many different pain Doctors. Most all were compassionate, but not all were skilled with their hands to do the injections. Some are able to do these procedures easily and many struggle. Dr. Racz does not struggle. In addition he is very compassionate. I have appreciated his help in dealing with my chronic pain since 2009.
