Dr. Chen struck me as agreeable and communicative, able to listen–I was disappointed however. I selected him because I thought he'd be knowledgeable and proactive regarding the gut-lung axis. The visit focused on a PPI prescription; when I asked about deeper work-ups (e.g., gut-lung connections or motility studies) the conversation didn’t progress beyond a tentative endoscopy suggestion.The visit felt symptom-focused rather than root-cause-oriented, which may suit some patients but didn’t meet my goals.

Easy parking. Everyone I met was friendly and courteous. No one tried to interact with my service dog (except for one patient). I was called to an exam room 15 minutes before my scheduled time. Dr Chen was easy to talk to. He patiently listened to my concerns, encouraged questions, and explained the procedures in ways I could understand.
