Hi, my name is Tifane, and I'm a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner serving clients in Pennsylvania. I specialize in anxiety, ADHD, insomnia and other sleep issues, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), anger management/impulse disorder, seasonal affective disorder (SAD), and stress management. Additionally, I offer life coaching and address issues specific to college and graduate student mental health, women’s issues, race and cultural identity, and religion and spirituality. I’ve been in nursing for over 15 years and completed my master’s and psychiatric training at Duquesne University. I’m passionate about destigmatizing mental healthcare, and together with my colleagues at Lavender Psychiatry, I’m on a mission to create a world where feelings are felt, respected, and cared for.

My therapeutic style is compassionate, patient-centered, and dedicated to partnering with individuals across the lifespan to improve mental health and overall well‑being. I blend evidence-based …psychiatric care with empathetic listening, personalized treatment planning, and a trauma-informed approach to support healing, resilience, and recovery. I am committed to clear communication, collaborative care, and advocating for stigma-free, accessible mental health services.

I have worked with a wide range of clients, including students, parents, professionals from various fields, skilled tradespeople, service industry workers, retail employees, entrepreneurs, artists, and technology experts. I am committed to providing a safe and supportive space where each individual feels heard, understood, and empowered to achieve their therapeutic goals. Starting treatment can be a scary and intimidating process. I’ve successfully treated many people who are new to psychiatric care.
