Dr. Tiffany Starr Hanf, MD

Dr. Hanf was able to diagnose my issues when my primary care physician was unable. I would highly recommend her and thank her for her competent treatment.

Dr. Hampf is the singular worst physician/hospitalist I have ever had the misfortune of seeing. I am writing this as a warning to anyone who may read this - I beg of you, read my story and take care with Dr. Hampf. After being admitted to the ER the on call Dr. could not diagnose me, however he felt I was deathly ill and needed to see the on call specialist. As the shift changed Hampf came on call, at the same time I was seen by the specialist. The specialist decided immediately what was wrong after examination and wanted a LP and me moved to ICU immediately. Hampf had other ideas and deemed the specialist wrong. Precious hours were lost as she sent me to the regular floor. After being treated abominably by an incompetent nurse and Hampf refusing to help, action was taken by my significant other to get ahold of the specialist and have his orders followed. Hampf argued with the specialist, and luckily the specialist won out or I would be dead. That said, for the 2 weeks I was… there she made life dangerous and precarious for me. She told every nurse HER diagnosis not the specialists, hid all of my files so the next on call Dr. almost discharged me, anything she could to be utterly incompetent and a monster. From what I have heard I am not the only one that has suffered under her poor care, lack of bedside manner, and quite frankly idiocy. I want to note that aside from 2 nurses out of many, the nursing staff and respitory therapists were great. I did get forgotten about by a physical therapist in ICU and was left for 3 hours without help or a way to get back to my bed. This is the only other troublesome note. Overall the nurses were FANTASTIC. Kind, courteous, loving, helpful. Truly a wonderful lot (this includes the nursing assistants and such as well). Even the cleaning staff and chaplain were wonderful. However if not for the specialist, I would be dead because of Hampf. I am not stating the specialist's name for fear he might suffer retribution from her. I just ask anyone reading this, you have a RIGHT to call the administrator and demand help, and if you are not receiving proper care tell the admin you are calling 911 to be transferred to a different facility. This causes them heavy damages with insurance and they will finally help you - just reserve for situations such as mine.

Worst experience with a doctor ever. Snotty and no bedside manner. Treated family Poorly. Would not recommend for poor patient skills.
