Dr. Tiffany Michael Pluto, DO

She is an amazing doctor,I would probably not be alive excepht for this doctor,ive been a paitiant for over 20 years,im 65 now and going strong!

I have been seeing Dr. Pluto for iver 15 yrs & so has my daughter and husband. We have always been happy with her & her office staff especially her nurse Dawn. The last few yrs we have not been as happy. She seemed more rushed & frankly just seemed like she didn't care as much as she used to. Now every problem you have she referred you to a specialist. I understand sometimes the need for one but due to my many health issues I'm already seeing way too many doctors. I liked when she used to work with you on an issue to try to resolve it then if we couldn't bring in a specialist. Also it seemed as if we were being pused to see her CNA instead of seeing her when we called. I have as I said seen the doctor for a very long time & she knows my history as does her nurse Dawn. If I want to see someone else then I will look elsewhere. Then what I thought was the last straw she & her office joined or were taken over by WVU Medical Center. I don't want to go to another state for… treatment and when I call her office it is routed through to a WVU answering service or office. When I call my doctor's office I want to speak to the office where they know me & I know them. My appointment last week was going to be my last appointment with her & then she seemed like her old self again so now I'm hesitant about going. She did have to refer me to a cardiac & thoracic doctor which was definitely needed. But the specialist is also a WVU doctor. One last thing my daughter saw Tara her CNA around Thanksgiving for a sinus infection & ear ache. Then she also got her flu shot which I always was told you couldn't get when you were sick. The point is I received an EOB from her insurance company that said the services were performed by a non-participating doctor and facility. So I can be billed for it. A bill for over $550! I feel they should have known her insurance & that their new group wasn't in-network. I didn't even think Dr Pluto's being a participating provider would change with her joining WVU. So I'm still not sure I'm staying at her practice. But I will miss her nurse Dawn tremendously if we do leave.

She's been my doctor for almost 20 years. She's wonderful! She listens to me and believes me! I have several health issues and she's honest and helpful. She will refer to specialists, but I review everything with her because she knows all my history.

She is very thorough and listens to what you have to say. She is concerned for her patients--you are a human being not just a number.

This doctor really knows her stuff and is great at diagnosing and treating anything that's wrong with you. Her office is very busy, and it's sometimes hard to get through on the phones, which can be frustrating. Her staff is very knowledgeable and helpful, and when you can get through on the phones, they are courteous, understanding, and do everything they can to help you. Sometimes the doctor does seem to be rushing too much and you feel like you don't have enough time to talk about your issues with her.

Office Staff makes rude comments about calllers being "pains in the bum, but doesnt say bum this site wont allow me to write what they really say!" drs assistant (one whom takes u back and gets vitals)is professional intelligent nice and caring. Everything you expect all the staff to be. Dr doesn't seem to "care" about her patients. Like she used too.

this doctor does not follow up with her patients. Heaven forbid you want test results, you have to wait til your next appointment. Even if its 3 months away!!! That's even if the results aren't good!!!!Her staff shows no respect for her patients. I think the doctor needs to replace some of her staff. Unless she agrees with their behavior (?!?!) I tend to think that the staff is a reflection of the doctor.
