Dr. Tiffany Ellen Simpson, MD

If you need an awesome primary care/family physician...well...her name is Dr. Tiffany E. Simpson. She's located conveniently at Mid City Mall in the Highlands. I'm very picky and have extremely high exceptions of my physicians...especially my primary care physician. A few years ago, one of my good friends recommended her and I couldn't be more pleased. She's thorough, knowledgeable, approachable and genuinely caring.

After more than 20 years living in Europe, we returned to Louisville, and it took several tries to find the right doctor for our family. Now, we've been with Dr Simpson for a year and are very happy to have her as our PCP. Dr. Simpson is a competent and experienced doctor who really cares. She listens and takes the time to answer questions clearly. Dr Simpson is friendly and relaxed, as is the whole staff of the practice. We never have to wait all too long to get an appointment or wait to be called in when we arrive for an appointment.

First appiontment I ever set up (months in advance) was cancelled. I had to reschedule it out...again. Fast forward to a few months later: I had an appointment with Dr. Simpson on Friday at 3pm. I showed up that morning to verify my appointment around 9:156 am. I later arrived for the appointment, 30 minutes early, and checked in 15 minutes early. After waiting for about 25 minutes, I asked the receptionist if Dr. Simpson was behind today and if I should reschedule or if I had time to grab something next door. I was told I was next, so I stayed. But around 3:25 I asked again if I should reschedule. The receptionist went back to check on the timing, and then a nurse took me back to the room where I waited for another 20 minutes. At 3:45 I informed them that my appointment was at 3pm and I had another appointment around 4:15 that I would miss if I stayed much longer. They said they could not reschedule me for another two weeks. A little after 3:50 I left, for less than 10 minutes, and… cancelled my other appointment, and then let the office staff know I would just wait until the doctor was free to see me, because I couldn't wait two more weeks. They then informed me the doctor would NOT see me, because I left the appointment. If that were only the end of the story! I got a phone call Monday asking if I wanted to reschedule for 9:40am the next day! I said yes, showed up a few minutes early -- only to be informed my appointment was at 9:20(?) and I was late -- and, get this -- THE DOCTOR WOULD NO LONGER SEE ME. FOR BEING 15 MINUTES LATE! I want to emphasize this is continuity of care for a new problem (a blood clot and new medication), and this office is refusing to let me in to access healthcare. I complained to Norton and they rescheduled me for a new female MD in Louisville. Stay away from this place if you want good (or any) care.

Never felt rushed through the appt. I feel she genuinely cares about my health. She takes time to thoroughly answer all of my questions and concerns.

Office staff, especially Brittany is very unprofessional and unhelpful. My annual checkup was a joke. Like a practice session for a new medical assistant. I quit going there, would not trust my healthcare there.

Tried to make an office visit - first time patient. I am a nurse at KY One Health, and took the first available on a Monday, worked a 14 hour shift and over slept. Called to reschedule, and per receptionist because I missed my first visit, I will be unable to come to the office. Staff was rude and disrespectful - i will be filing a grievance. Sad that someone isn't given an opportunity to be seen - especially an employee.

Fantastic bedside manner. Knowledgeable and thorough. So happy she's our family M.D.
