Dr. Tiffany A Troso-Sandoval, MD

Dr. Tiffany A. Troso-Sandoval is top notch. She is very knowledgeable in her field and goes above and beyond. She is always on top of the lastest technology and medications to fit my needs. She us truly a gem. She has my valuable life in her hands and I appreciate all she does to make a good quality of life for me.

I came to MSK (treatment for my mother’s stage 4 cancer) because they are known to be the best of the best. I don’t how dr Troso works there. Do not be fooled by her being nice and sympathetic when you first meet her. I was never under any illusion that this dr or any dr could save my mom. Her cancer was aggressive and she had a 5% 5 year survival rate. However I hoped MSK and Dr Troso could take good care of her. The dr said her cancer would not break the blood brain barrier and therefor never ordered PET scans of her brain. My moms chemo worked for a little but the cancer got to her brain. Dr Troso did not do anything for my mom when she was admitted to the hospital and then incorrectly sent to a rehab. This doctor did not respond to my calls. My calls were ALWAYS directed to the nurse. The Dr did not take them. My mom said her herself that she felt like this dr didn’t care about her because her cancer was so advanced and she could not be saved. I am not under the illusion that… anyone could have saved my mom but I do know this dr could have been more thorough, caring and responsive. Be careful if you go to her. If necessary, get an advocate to stand up for you. I wish I had.

I would recommend Dr. Troso-Sandoval's practice without hesitation. Both her and her medical staff are very professional and compassionate individuals.
