Dr. Tilottoma Mukherjee, MD

Dr. Tilo was so helpful as I learned how to manage my Bipolar Disorder as a young adult living away from my family in Mass. I highly recommend her for any care you may want to receive

I had a very good experience working with Dr. Tilo. She has been treating me for the last 3 years. I recently moved to California and she went out of her way to help me find a new psychiatrist and therapist there that would be the best fit for me. I'm doing a lot better and am grateful for her help. She has always been available for me and gets back to me quickly whenever I needed to talk with her.

Dr. Mukherjee is simply unavailable. Does not return phone calls or emails and barely gives you any time. While she is very impressed with herself, if you have a serious issue - please go somewhere else to avoid inconveniencing this doctor.

I have been working with doctor tilo for the past 6 years and she has been nothing but helpful. She listens carefully, is very considerate, and kind. She has always been very patient with me. Whenever I needed to speak with her she Made sure to give me time. I would recommend her to anyone who is struggling and needs help.

I never feel like she genuinely cares about what I’m saying. Her responses are so robotic and fake feeling. She also is quick to jump to assumptions and accusations. Would not recommend.

I've been struggling with depression for years and was fired from my job. I also lost a family member recently. Dr. Tilo showed me alot of compassion and patience. I'm doing better but it's been alot of work and a long road for me. I feel more hopeful now about my future. I would recommend her to anyone who is struggling and needs a helping hand.

Dr. Tilo was very responsive and easy to schedule with throughout my time as her patient. She accepted payment via credit card, which was very convenient for me. She always made treatment a discussion rather than coldly telling me what she was prescribing/changing and then sending me on my way without describing my treatment plan. She also listened closely and provided feedback regarding my concerns when necessary. The only reason I stopped seeing her is because I moved too far away. If able, I would return to her care. Thankfully, she made the transition to my next prescriber as easy as possible.

Dr. Mukherjee is a kind, thoughtful doctor who I always enjoyed speaking with and she helped me a great deal with some issues that I was having. In addition, she is very helpful and responsive with issues of insurance, prescriptions, and any other issues that I had. She also has an excellent billing system and was always very organized, which meant that I never really ran into any issues with my insurance provider. Her practice is located right in Back Bay, which is very convenient.

I met with a two other psychiatrists in addition to Dr. Tilo, before deciding to choose her for treatment. Through discussions, she was able to help me land on a medication that finally reduced my symptoms of anxiety and depression. I also saw a therapist, in addition to Dr. Tilo, to help sort through the reasons why I was suffering with anxiety and depression. After years of being on another type of medication, which caused weight gain, she helped me find a medication that didn't have the negative side effects but still treated my symptoms. While I primarily saw Dr. Tilo for medication management, I also benefited from her counselling. I have since moved, and have sought treatment at another psychiatrist, but still prefer Dr. Tilo. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for advice on balancing current medications, seeking a better alternative to a medication you're on, but also for compassionate ear to listen. Dr. Tilo is very professional concerning the logistics… of her practice. She is never late to appointments. It is easy to schedule with her via email, phone or at the end of your appointment.

Dr Tilo is a great Doctor. She helped my well being more than I could say. I highly recommend her as a doctor.
