Dr. Tim Robert Valko, MD

I saw Dr. Valko for over ten years. I went to him for my mental health meds because the counselor that I was seeing couldn't prescribe medications. He never overprecribed me medication and used his knowledge and me personally as I progressed in a good way with my depression and anxiety. After briefly talking he would ask me if I thought that since I was getting better we could decrease my meds. I got to know him quite well because of going to him for several years and was very confident in his treatment plan for me in different situations and liked how he considered my opinion when I thought I was ready to decrease or get off certain meds. One things is for sure, he NEVER overprescribed mediacations.

The board is full of it. I have seen him since 2016 and never, I repeat NEVER has he over medicated. Some of the people I have seen come there need high doses of medication. Shame on you Board! You have lost a great Doctor!

Dr Valko truly cares about his job and his patients. He includes you in his plan of care and has goals set by you and him. He is truly one of the best doctors I’ve ever met with.

I’ve been going to his office for 4 years now and always get the best of care. The staff at Valko & Associates truly care and never fail to address my concerns. I’ve seen Dr. Valko a number of times and think he goes above and beyond and has a heart for what he does. He is very honest, and includes his patients in the plan of care.

I went to him when I was around 16 years of age. He will not treat your problems. The only solution he has is to give you more drugs. Very poor mental health doctor.

All he cares about is making his money. He never listened to my concerns, and laughed at me when I asked questions. He simply gave me meds and that was that. It never really helped. Couldn't be more glad that I left.

I was 20 minutes late. Waited 30 minutes to be told they couldn't see me. Then, I was charged a FIFTY dollar "missed appointment" fee. And, they were very very rude.

Doctor seemed more about getting me in and out. I was having some severe side effects from the medication. When I expressed my concerns about the medication and it's side effects he told me to just keep taking the medication. Felt I was not made a priority and he was constantly booked. Hard to make an appointment with.

I believe he honestly cares about the well-being of his patients

Dr. Valko is extremely knowledgeable regarding options, medications (He is always up to date on new meds and any research. Some may not feel comfortable about his style at times (He is quite direct) but after leaving I know I am getting the best care. That means the world to me. Many do not know of the time he provides to agencies and their clients and his extensive involvement in the community.
