Meet Timothy J. Armanini, DDS
Timothy J. Armanini, D.D.S. is an Erie native, and has practiced Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery here since 1987. He was truly grateful to return to his “hometown” following the completion of his training…Upon completion of high school from Cathedral Preparatory High School (1976), he later attended Gannon College where he graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology (1979).
At graduation, he also received the Alumni Award, presented to the outstanding graduate, reflective of excellence in the natural sciences. He additionally received the Richard “Doc” Beyer Memorial Award which reflects outstanding scholarship and intercollegiate athletic participation. Dr. Armanini was an Academic All American in baseball at Gannon College…Dr. Armanini received his dental school training at the Medical College of Virginia, School of Dentistry in Richmond, where he was a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental …Honor Society. He then completed his post-Doctoral residencies at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Hampton, Virginia (General Practice) and at the University of Kentucky, in Lexington (Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, 1987)…Dr. Armanini is Board-Certified in his specialty and enjoys subspecialty interests in dental implants, dentoalveolar surgery, and facial trauma. Most importantly, through his interest in anesthesia, he enjoys helping anxious patients to have a comfortable and even enjoyable surgical experience. Dr. Armanini has hospital appointments at St. Vincent Health Center and St. Vincent Surgery Center, along with Niagara Village SurgiCenter. Dr. Armanini resides in Erie with his wife, Beth, and their children, Joseph David and Lindsay Elizabeth.
