Dr. Timothy P Baker

He is one of the best dr I have ever seen

I saw Dr Baker, he was sitting in front of pathology reports giving evidence that I have both renal cancer, limited kidney function, disseminated valley fever and excrutiating neck pain which would lead anyone to suspect meningitis or at least look to test for it and rule it out. He ordered no such tests. I have to get confirmation from another doctor. He sent me home to die with a prescription for an antidepressant and a suggestion I might seek counseling. He said that almost anyone with two terminal diagnosis's would feel the need for counseling. I was looking for pain relief and a doctor to intervene with my meningitis. I'm really not sure how talking to a counselor and taking an antidepressant would help. The only depression I felt was that I had waited for this appointment, paid and expensive copay, so that I could talk to an idiot who I should probably sue for not doing the spinal tap.

dr. baker gave me meds thats have side effect i cant take and he dicussed me and my medical problems with someone else without me say it was okay i will never go back

Dr. Baker,Listens and provides appropriate guidance. You have to understand what he is saying to make yourself well.

Great Doctor that listened to my concerns. Went my old doctor for over a year with kidney prolblem with no success say its my diet. the old Doctor wouldn't test my stone and said let wait and see.Dr Baker listened to my history and ran some test and tested my stone and found what was the cause. Now reading about what was causing my problem all the symptoms match. He will be my Doctor for life.

I needed quite a bit of time to review a complex set of issues after a hospitalization. Dr. Baker did not take the time to understand my problem. And he seemed the whole time like he was more interested in getting out of the room to see the next patient. This experience is not unique to me as I have a number of friends who go to or went to Dr. Baker. Every time I go I wait for 20-40 minutes, get 5-10 minutes with the doctor and if issues are going to take longer than that to discuss, it's make an appt for next time. But by the next time he forgot who I was so we had to pretty much start over.After changing doctors, one visit with the new doctor in a slow manner actually started producing results in figuring out my problem. The new doctor took the time that was needed one time. I would not recommend Dr. Baker as a doctor for anything besides just basic simple assessments and solutions. If you have a runny nose or an ear infection, fine, but beyond that nope.

My husband and I have both been seeing Dr. Taylor for 15 years. We have always been pleased. He caught skin cancer on my husband and within a week surgery was performed. I cant ask for better.
