Dr. Timothy Francis Barcomb, MD

Not surprised to see the other horrible reviews here about this guy , such a condescending, unempathtic doctor, I have never been treated like this in my life by a medical professional.

He is the worst emergency care physician I've ever had to deal with. He was condescending, and he gave me inaccurate information.

Awesome awesome awesome. Put me at ease regarding my son's condition. One of the smartest doctors you'll meet.

One of the worst doctors I have ever had. He did nothing for me and I was in his ER care for 3 hrs and he sent me home in # 10 pain.

We wish we would have been able to see a different doctor.

Worst doctor I have ever seen. I saw him while in the Emergency Room and I have never in my entire life met someone so unprofessional. Had I not been younger, I would have reported him to the Board. He was wrong on my diagnosis and thankfully I saw another doctor who spent more time with me and solved everything. If you are looking for a doctor with any kind of compassion he is not your doctor. I could not believe the sarcasm he used and how unprofessional he was during the entire visit.

Timothy Barcomb was unprofessional, condescending, and ignorant of my medical condition. In the emergency care facility that I saw him in, he diagnosed me with torticollis and asked me if I had a history of neck problems. I explained that I had trigger points and that my upper neck and back were often in pain; I had been diagnosed with trigger points by a physiatrist. Dr. Barcomb referred to my trigger points in a condescending, disbelieving manner by calling them, â??Voodoo trigger points.â?? Trigger points are recognized as a valid, proven medical issue by massage therapists, physical therapists, physiatrists, and other professional doctors. When I tried to explain the science behind them, such as the fact that theyâ??ve been viewed using an electron microscope, he dismissed my comments by saying that another group of people might look at the same evidence and come to a different conclusion. While I do believe that doctors should be allowed to question the diagnosis of another… doctor, Barcomb did not do so in a professional manner. Furthermore, he made comments about a medical problem he obviously knew very little about, and he tried to question the expertise of a doctor with a MD that specializes in neuromuscular therapy. While I do not think that my diagnosis of torticollis was incorrect, I am extremely disappointed in the manner I was treated in.

I brought my daughter to the ER and dr Barcomb quickly recognized that my daughters chest pain was really just anxiety. he seemed to know a lot of numbers and doctor science. He said her EKG was normal and she hasn't had any problems for a month. I wish the ER wait times were better but that's not his fault.
