Barbara, his scheduler, is very unpleasant and rude. Dr. Birney is great, but in order to get to him you have to go through Miss Nasty. We have had to deal with her on several occasions and acturall dread having to talk with her. There must be a nicer people out there who could do a better job of complimenting Dr. Birney's great personality.

Dr. Birney understands his patients pain, their hopes for regaining their lives. As a dog breeder, trainer and handler it is imperative that I have the ability to twist and bend. The use of flexible fusion is allowing me the chance to continue doing what I love. Dr. Birney gives me hope, compassion and caring.

I was very impressed with this doctor. I had a very bad back and was a difficult patient to work on due to circumstances. My family was involved and he was kind and explained everything to them. My back, 9 months later is awesome and I had no major complication. I still have a few issues and he is always willing to help me and make sure my pain ,which is SO much less, is managed. I recommend him 100%.
