Dr. Tim has been my family's physician since I was 13 (I just recently turned 40). Over the years, he has gone from being stellar to (the majority of the time) seeming to care less, being ill mannered, and lacking in professionalism. He also has a tendency to take offense if you already have some idea as to what ails you before a visit, and if you tend to be somewhat medically savvy and ask a lot of of questions. He has also, on several past occasions, been so tired that he's nodded off while sitting on his stool during consultations. I suggest (if your insurance allows) that if you've had a prolonged illness which his treatment has failed to resolve, that you do some research and self-refer to a specialist, as it is quite rare that he gives referrals upon request. As another person wrote in their review, a couple of his office staff aren't at all pleasant. Last year, at one point I needed to cancel an appointment (days ahead when their automated system called our home). About a… week after, I received a letter in the mail claiming I was a no-show and requesting I pay a $20 penalty. When I called to check on this issue, their person who does the billing actually had the gull to tell me out-rightly that I was LYING, after which she did withdraw the charge. Also, the older female receptionist at the front of the office DOES seem to dislike people and her job. Her demeanor at times isn't unlike the sort of pleasantness you might encounter from a Pit Bull in the middle of a dog fight. So, if this seems to be the type of atmosphere you typically enjoy when seeking medical attention, I would have to say that this is the doctor and staff that you want to take your business to!
