I wouldnt take a stray cat to "Dr" Burrell.

I'm new from California, and it seems the doctors here are much more interested in what your concerns are, Dr Burrell is very good at asking all the questions and addressing your concerns not just in and out!

Came into doctor's office 10 minutes ahead of time sat and waiting room for 45 minutes The receptionist said they may have gotten me mixed up with another person with my same first name Several people came in after me. Got seen and left Worse service I gotten Will not be back

Saw him for a shoulder injury. I had to take two extra trips to his office over the MRI because the staff is useless. I will need surgery on my shoulder. His office tried to call me over the results more than a day after they were available - glad they can drag their feet. Post surgery my arm will be immobilized and I won’t be able to give myself a twice a week injection. Guess what? He told me it was my problem and they won’t do the injections while I’m unable. Total class act and really cares about patients it seems.

Saw NP Heather Lawter for an aggressive breast tumor I had ignored for 3 yrs and anxiety. Heather was amazing. I had ignored cancer for 3 years from anxiety. She had faith on me, wrote me a 2 wk script, was to return on the 16th to see if RX was adequate and sufficient. She set me up for mammogram, ultrasound and biopsy. After 3 yrs of terror I finally took control of my health and faced my cancer. On the 12th I had a biopsy in 5 different places and afterwards, went straight to Heather's office as the anxiety meds were only 2 left and I was to be there Tuesday. I was 6 pills short and very scared with my bra packed with ice and bleeding through my bra from the multiple biopsies. Heather was not there, I saw Dr. Burrell. I explained that while switching from self medicated Xanax after 3 years, to my RX, the first few days were very rough with no sleep and severe bouts of anxiety. I explained in the 3 minutes that he allowed me I was stable on the RX, and did not want to backtrack as I… had been without Xanax for almost 2 weeks and was very proud of my progress. When checking in the nurse told me my BP was very elevated from 2 weeks ago visit. Dr. Burrell let me speak for 60 seconds, informed me I had not taken my medicine correctly ( even though I thought after one visit they would be able to tell from my symptoms what the proper dose would be since I'd only been there once. DR. Burell did not care about my breast bleeding, my cancer anxiety, my honest of telling him I did not want to backtrack and was honest that in the first few days of switching over I took 3 instead of 2 pills. I told him I was stable on the RX and was very proud of myself and the way the RX was working. He let me speak for 60 seconds, gave me a drug dependency pamphlet to call for an appt and told me to not come back to the practice, they would not be prescribing me another RX. Thank you Heather Lawter for giving me 2 weeks of stability to get my mammogram, ultrasound and biopsies done. I am forever grateful for your compassion. Dr. Burell made me feel like a drug seeker, could've cared less about my anxiety or cancer or even if my RX needed to be adjusted after only one visit. I left feeling nothing but hopelessness.

This doctor is smart, innovative and caring. He has a very modern way of looking at medicine, which I find very beneficial. He is just awesome.

Very prompt, great bedside manner. Really seems to care.

I am so impressed with Dr. Burrell. His new practice is amazing! I got in to see him the same day with no waiting. He spent time with me, listened to my concerns and explained everything. I finally found a doctor I can trust. Thank you Dr. Burrell!

I went to Dr. Burrell complaining of bad headaches and what seemed to me to be swollen glands. Dr. Burrell spent time examining me and discussing things that might be contributing to my headaches. He determined that stress was a factor in my headaches and prescribed medicine for the soar throat. I was very pleased with his care for me.
