Please be advised that the billing company HCI executives (has changed names several times)associated with Doctor may not be acting in compliance with HIPAA privacy standards. Your medical records are being thrown in the trash unshredded. Patients should closely monitor their Explanation of Benefits (EOB) for billing errors. HCI is unprofessional, and there are significant concerns regarding the secure disposal of medical records and Dr and his wife focus on financial gain rather than patient care.

Don't let credentials fool you. Dr. Canty gave me a Ketamine infusion without examining me and without another doctor's notes. I had a bad reaction, called five --yes five times and got no call back.... Developed severe headaches. Ten days after infusion I spoke to Doctor: he said he had called me several times...(no phone message... no call record).... he said headaches were unrelated and he referred me to a neurologist. The only variable are headaches. He could not have been more dismissive, insulting and cold. And, I can deal with that if one is a great and thorough clinician. Harvard and Mass General.... hmmmmm..... STAY AWAY!!!!

First appointment with Dr. : he wasn't there. Nobody bothered to tell me. Second: received Ketamine infusion with no physical examination. Phoned the next day to report on side effects. Nobody called back. I phoned five times, took names of staff. Ten days later I called and spoke to Dr. Canty. He claims to have called me several times (no message left; no numbers on my phone)... I reported severe headaches. He said they are unrelated to the infusion (no other variable) and he referred me to a neurologist. He said, "I had a need for attention." Based on... my phoning to report on side effects? I found him: careless, not thorough, dismissive, rude and much more interested in being "right" than in me as a patient or human being. One of the worst experiences with a doctor. Harvard and Mass General are not enough to make one compassionate or, in this case, even a thorough clinician.

I contacted five different Pain Management doctors and not one of them could help me. I was referred to Dr. Canty three weeks ago and he took my case right away. He was the only doctor who was able to realize that my condition called Arachnoidtis was not the reason I was experiencing severe pain in my neck, low back, buttock and right leg. Dr. Canty started to regimen of epidurals and spinal blocks and now three weeks later I am feeling a 100 % better. His assisting doctors and office staff are kind, considerate and ready to help with anything I need. God bless Dr. Canty and everyone at CSP.

Never seen him only His PA on first visit which feel you should be able to see him on first visit understand follow up seeing his PA but not first visit don't get to meet doctor not good at all

Dr. Canty and his staff are the best in the business. They provided exceptional care and resolved my pain completely! I've been struggling with this for the past two years and no other doctor has been successful. Dr. Canty really took the time to understand my issue so that he could successfully treat it. Five stars and would recommend to EVERYONE!

I am a woman, in her mid 40,s. I have been having pain in my knees, back and sometimes my ankle.For a very long time. I met dr. Canty and another colleague. Last year. The environment is very nice, peaceful. The receptionist, the nurses and doctors. Are nice, yet very honest. Before any decisions are made. They talk to you and try their best to assure you what may need to be done. I come back faithfuly. Knowing when I leave his office. I'm sore, yet releaved. I was hesitent at first. But after talking to dr canty. And he took his time. I will be back, God willing for my back next. But for me, he gave me some hope. Without worrying about surgery.I would like to thank him. More than you know. Very good environment in general.

I am a 58 year old female who was diagnosed with spinal stenosis. I turned to several other doctors who perform epidurals and had little to now results. When I visited Dr. Canty, he had a different technique than the others and I felt immediate RELIEF! I swear by him and will follow him wherever he may be. He is my savior. NOT in a hurry for the rod, screws, and fusion the other doctors advised.

After my m/c accident that left me with half of my calve and severe nerve damage, I found Dr. Canty online. He has been a God-send. He and his staff are professional and courteous and, most importantly, friendly. I highly recommend anyone with any sort of pain to try Dr. Canty. You won't be disappointed.

I have suffered from chronic back pain for almost 20years. Dr Canty has been able to get to the root of my problem with accuracy and speed whereas other doctors have given me little to no hope of providing any kind of relief or treatment. I found Dr Canty through my insurance carrier and am grateful that I was able to find a Pain Management Dr to provided relief so that I can live a somewhat normal life. I am currently undergoing Radiofrequency ablation for chronic back pain. Although the pain is still evident, I have found much relief from this treatment. The down side to this procedure is that it is not a permanent fix and I will need to repeat the procedure anywhere from 6 months to 2 years for the rest of my life. Something I am willing to do to be somewhat free of back pain. On another note, there is a review from a previous patient of Dr Canty that ended up in the hospital due to improper sterilization. After reading her post I will be sure to mention to Dr Canty and his staff… that I am aware of that occurrence and will enforce the importance of proper sterilization for each of my procedures.
