Dr. Timothy B Cole, MD

Dr. Timothy Cole was the surgeon that performed my gall bladder removal surgery. I had a gallstone in the neck of the duct leading to my gall bladder and it was causing me extreme pain. During the procedure, Dr. Cole stated that he was unable to remove my entire gallbladder so a small portion of it still remained. I called daily sometimes multi times a day for 2 weeks after the surgery to Dr. Coles office regarding the pain that I was experiencing. I could not lay down, sit or walk without being in pain. I couldn’t eat or drink and my symptoms hadn’t changed from before the surgery. Even after seeing him in office for a follow up, Dr. Cole and his office insisted my symptoms were not related to the surgery. I ended up in the emergency room and had to get 3 additional surgeries totaling over $70k in medical bills due to a bile leak which was caused by Dr. Cole’s neglect during my surgery and neglect when he would not address my pain and symptoms after the surgery.

Dr. Timothy Cole is a class act. He is extremely professional and a rare find. He is a surgeon who actually takes the time to listen to what you have to say, answer questions you have and explains in both medical and layman's terms so you can fully understand your diagnosis, plan, procedure and post-surgery recovery. He maintains a consistently calm demeanor to help ease any of your anxiety. Scheduling and follow up was easy with Dr. Cole and his office. The surgery itself went smoothly as well as my recovery without any complications for either. ZMarcus

Dr. Cole was the surgeon I selected to perform my inguinal and umbilical hernia repair. After interviews of two surgeons I refused the services of. Dr. Cole and his staff are beyond competent and compassionate. Before the surgery he required a complete work up, that he did not perform meaning it was not done for his personal profit. Dr. Cole is the only physician I personally have ever heard say "first do no harm". He address all mine and my wife's concerns. After my surgery he met with my wife and took her to a private room and debriefed her in private (I mention this because she was present when another surgeon simple walked out and debriefed another spouse in the open waiting area, awkward position for her and everyone else). He is professional and personable, with a sense of humor.

My son at about 11 months old was diagnosed with Intramuscular Hemangioma. Doctors told me they usually resolve themselves by age 5. It did go away for 2 years but came back with a vengeance when he was 7 years old. We took him into Dr. Cole with no referral for a consult and were promptly seen. The office staff were so incredibly friendly and helpful. We saw Dr. Cole and he suggested removal of the tumor. Through the whole process Dr. Cole was knowledgeable, caring, patient, and really was great with both my son and I. He answered any questions I had, explained to my son what exactly was going on, and prompted humor to help ease the scary of the situation. They all decided to name the tumor Kevin (rhymed with his name) as the running joke was he ate his twin while in utero. lol It definitely made my son feel more relaxed and the tradition has continued. We went in for surgery (the process financial, procedure, recovery was well explained before this) and Dr. Cole was professional, did… great work, and even kept me informed while in the operating room. He asked one of the nurses in the Operating room with him to take a picture of the tumor right after he removed it showing the size of it via the palm of his hand and had them send my husband and I the picture. We knew that all was well. What was even more amazing is the experience was unusual in that my son left a lasting mark on the operating room and Dr. Cole was so impressed he marked a special spot on the wall so he would see it every time he operated in that room. Eventually they left those facilities but before doing so he signed his name forever memorializing that surgery and moment. The surgical check-up went smoothly with absolutely no complications. We were told that while rare this sort of tumor does have a chance to come back and to let him know if anything shows up. Fast forward 4 or 5 years and the tumor had grown back. This time my son decided with tradition to name him Ivan (also rhymes with his first name). We called to schedule an appointment last year to have it evaluated. Again the office staff were prompt, helpful, kind, and professional. They got us in right away to have it looked at. Dr. Cole decided to wait it out as it wasn't causing much of a problem at that time. Today my son came home from school in pain. It has finally come to the point where it will need to be removed. I promptly called Dr. Cole's office which I was surprised that at 4 it wasn't already closed as most Dr's offices are on Fridays. They immediately got him scheduled for this coming Monday to be seen. They aren't messing around with this at all. I highly suggest Dr. Cole and his amazing staff for any surgery needs. We moved from Plano to Fort Worth and I have refused to find anyone else. We have had to change insurances several times but each time I make sure he is in network as it is one of my stipulations. We will continue to come back for as long as we may need. 100% trust his judgment and advice.

We came to Dr. Cole after a mishap with my husband's previous surgery. He immediately noticed the problem and got us in for surgery 2 days later! He is diligent, kind and explains things very well. His staff was amazing as well and worked really hard to make sure everything was set up for us. We finally felt at ease and saw a light at the end of the tunnel thanks to Dr. Cole!!! Highly recommended!

I had to have my gallbladder removed last month, and I was extremely nervous as I've never had any issues with my health before this happened. When I met Dr. Cole, I immediately felt confident and safe in the care I would be receiving. Not only was he great at keeping me informed and making me feel at ease about the entire operation and what to expect following the procedure, but he was such a genuine and personable doctor! I had a great experience and highly recommend Dr. Cole!

Took great care of me for my emergency gall bladder surgery. Am making him my dr in other areas too.
