Dr. Tim is proud to have grown up in the small farming community of Perrinton, Michigan. His passion for dentistry began in high school and earned him the nickname Doc. He graduated valedictorian of Fulton High School in 1977. After two years of undergraduate studies at Central Michigan University, he was accepted into the University of Michigan Dental School. Upon graduation from dental school in 1983, Tim accepted his brother's request to practice dentistry with him in Carson City. Also, in 1983 he married his high school sweetheart, Sherry. Dr. Tim and his wife have two grown children who are currently in college. He is a 4th generation farmer on the Donohue family farm. To this day he cherishes the time he spends at the family farm working with his mom and dad. Dr. Tim volunteers actively in the community, church and schools as a way of giving back for their support.
After 25 years of focusing his practice in family dental care in the Carson City area, Dr. Tim …remains easy going and concerned about his patient's comfort and the best treatment for them. Early dental education is also very important to Dr. Tim. He offers his time to help educate the children in the area at local schools and health fairs to care for their dental health and achieve a healthy smile.
Because the profession is constantly changing, Dr. Tim looks forward to the many continuing dental education classes offered to remain up to date and informed in the latest technology, treatment plans, development of new skills, and equipment. He is highly skilled in family and cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, orthodontics, crown and bridges, dentures, and dental implants. Dr. Tim is a current member of the American Dental Society, Michigan Dental Association, American Orthodontic Society, and past president of the Ninth District Dental Society.
