Excellent doctor and his team. He did a surgical resection of my wife's mid body pancreas and spleen which was stage 1 CA and made follow up referrals for chemo and radiation. She is now CA free saving her life. Can't thank him enough.

I did not have cancer, but there was a small potential for it. What was lurking under my left external oblique and infiltrating my internal oblique was a large sized angiolimpoma. When I told him that a visit to Dana-Farber had resulted in being told that in order to removed the tumor the muscle would need to be removed and I’d have mesh holding me together he said he was certain that the tumor could be removed without taking any muscle. This was exactly what he did. He answered all my questions, treated me with respect, and gave me the confidence to believe that down the recovery road I would feel even better than before my tumor became a problem. I am so grateful that he is in Maine!

There is not a day that goes by without thinking of Dr. Fitzgerald..He performed Liver Cancer Surgery on me 6 years ago..My son in law, Dr William Vazquez told me after surgery " he must be a fantastic surgeon." I have to agree with him. Dr. Fitzgerald treated me and my wife like we were family and I will never forget him.I would love to have you forward this to him.. This surgery was performed at St. Marys Hospital in Grand Rapids Michigan..How fortunate to have such awesome talent at a local level !
