Dr. Foster graduated from undergraduate school at Murray State University in western Kentucky with a degree in Biology and Chemistry. He then graduated from University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 1982. Dr. Foster had a scholarship in dental school with the National Health Service Corp and fulfilled that scholarship by practicing near Cleveland Tennessee for 3 years at Benton Family Health Care Center. Dr. Foster joined Dr. Ernest Tomlinson in 1986 who had practiced in Donelson since 1951. Multiple generations of many of Dr. Tomlinson’s original patients are still a part of our family of patients.
Dr. Tim Foster is a member of the American Dental Association, the Tennessee Dental Association, the Nashville Dental Society and the Music City Dental Study Group. Dr. Foster has consistently furthered his education through meetings and continuing education courses throughout the years. He serves as a volunteer dentist at the InterFaith Dental Clinic to …help provide dental care for the working poor and is actively involved in Hermitage United Methodist Church and the Room in the Inn for the homeless.Â
Dr. Foster and his wife, Melody have two daughters, Lauren and Katie. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, boating, skiing, traveling and family activities.
