Dr. Timothy Duane Freeman, MD

I saw him many times ( fifteen or more) over a series of years. His bedside manner vacillated far more than that of any other professional I have yet to encounter. If you do not cause any undue difficulty, he is an absolute delight. In difficult circumstances ( not my fault), I found him quite short-tempered. It made bad situations worse. I could not wholeheartedly recommend him in good conscience to someone in circumstances which might cause him frustration. On the other hand, he is an extremely bright physician. It's his bedside manner with which I take issue. And that was only regrettable about 20% of the times I had dealings with him. Also, with one occasion when it was only half an hour, the wait time was NEVER under 45 minutes. Really. Not good when you are on oxygen in the first place.

As a previous medical professional myself, I set a high standard for care from my own doctors. I am absolutely blown away by Dr. Freeman and the care he has given to me and my family. No other physician that I know would have gone to the lengths that he has. For example, when I call with a question, HE returns my call, not his assistant. When I call with a question about my Mom, HE returns my call again! When there is confusion over a CT scan of my Mom's, he call her home, PERSONALLY and tells her to come into his office! Other physicians would have had their assistant's do the calling, but not him. And, last year he caught 2 aortic aneurisms that my Mom's pulmonologist missed! He's like the Super Primary Care Doctor! Love Him! I have told him that he can't retire because I don't know who I would go to then and I'm not really kidding! :-)

This quack treated a friend or should I say mistreated a friend. Said she had an airway obstruction when in reality she has emphysema,copd, and asthma. Her new doctor said she almost died. I have been urging her for years to change doctors but she had been seeing this man since she was young so she was reluctant to change. I would not recommend this guy to anyone. He is more worried about his expensive ink pens and safariis to Africa than he is his patients.

He's is the best Dr. in Cincinnati. I hope he never retires.

I found Dr. Freeman to be very well informed and very keen on informing me as well. When I choose a doctor, I want someone who takes time to explain what s/he observes, what diagnosis follows, and what the assorted treatments might be. Dr. Freeman has excellent skills in this arena. This is very important to me because I prefer less invasive forms of treatment.

He is Jekyl & Hyde on an Ego trip. Very rough on female during intrusive exam, then scolded patient for screaming.

Dr. Freeman is excellent. He is unusually, exceptionally knowledgable regarding a wide range of conditions.I have found him to be very thoughtful and thorough where both diagnosis and treatment are concerned. I get the impression he is equally kind to all his patients.

Dr.Freeman is a really great doctor. Not only kind and caring, but incredibly smart. He is well versed in a variety of areas re: health.

The main thing I like about Dr. Freeman is how he really seems to care about me and takes the time to sit down and discuss what's going on in my life. I would and I have recommended Dr Freeman to other people that were not happy with their present doctor. My overall health was considered not just the ache or pain I was experiencing. Dr Freeman also keeps my information on a laptop computer so he is up on newer technology and seems to keep a good record of my health. My visits are pleasant and he listens and acts on all my concerns, never blows me off.
