Easily a top 3 radiologist I have encountered. Throughout my medical journey, I have met few individuals with as much knowledge and experience as Dr. Gallagher.

Dr. Gallagher performed my first breast biopsy. I have extremely dense breasts which is apparent from my mammograms. He did not allow appropriate time for the anesthetic he inserted into my breast to do its job. As a result this biopsy was unnecessarily extremely painful. I had a second biopsy done by a different physician and was terrified of the pain I would be enduring. This physician is the one who explained that my prior physician had likely not allowed sufficient time for the anesthetic to work. She was correct. The biopsy that she performed was far deeper than that of Dr. Gallagher's biopsy as the second tumor was against my chest wall. However, it was completely painless and she went about her job gently and slowly. Do not allow this man to biopsy your breast if you have dense breasts. Further, he promised me that I could contact his nurse for my results. I called her and she could not give me the results because of their policies. She was following… procedures which I understood but he should not have promised me that I could obtain the results from her. Hence, I went for an additional 2 days wondering about my biopsy and the tumor was malignant cancer. No one should have this experience.
