Dr. Timothy Paul Gerst, MD

Dr. Timothy Gerst is a family medicine physician who earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa Roy J and Lucille A Carver College of Medicine. With 23 years of experience in family medicine, he provides comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages. Dr. Gerst is fluent in Spanish and Tagalog, allowing him to serve diverse communities in his practice areas.

Dr. Gerst practices at Regional Family Health locations in Manchester and Winthrop, Iowa, as well as at Buchanan County Health Center in Independence. He is affiliated with Regional Medical Center and Buchanan County Health Center for hospital-based care. His clinical focus includes treating patients with weakness and mobility challenges such as limping and loss of trunk control.
